Clinton County To Lose A Judge

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

Gratiot County now has its probate judge back. In a reorganization of Michigan’s courts, Gratiot County was scheduled to lose its probate judge.

However state Senator Roger Kahn, R-Saginaw Township, amended  the court reorganization bill which took away Clinton County’s probate judge instead of Gratiot County’s Judge.

Sen. Judy Emmons, who will be representing Gratiot County in the new senate district, was the one who offered the amendment.
